Pepti-Guard is formulated to support bacteria balance in the upper gastrointestinal (GI) tract, particularly in the stomach, while soothing the GI lining and easing occasional stomach discomfort. Pepti-Guard’s botanical and mineral formula contains deglycyrrhizinated and so avoids potential side effects such as elevated blood pressure. Aloe vera from the inner fillet gel of the aloe plant helps to soothe the delicate mucous membranes of the GI tract without causing gastric upset or a laxative effect. The natural mineral bismuth citrate helps to calm the GI tracts and mucosal lining and also promotes a healthy microbial balance. Berberine HCI is also particularly helpful for supporting the balance of beneficial bacteria in the upper GI tract*.
